Second largest city in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Saint-Etienne is a friendly town, founded on the spirit of the miners of yesteryear. At the gates of the Parc du Pilat and near the Loire, Saint-Étienne has modern infrastructure and a beautiful (and large) university.
